the Pops Concert. Flyers need to be
posted at local businesses and left at other bingos as well as possibly
placing an ad in the newspaper. A
sign or banner on the back of the baseball fence was also suggested by
Deanne. The bingo machine has been
reserved.
- Banner Sales are in progress. Marty M., Scott and John have formulated
a plan, compiled a list of possible businesses and are working through a
“sponsorship program” which will give back to the sponsor in appreciation
for monies spent.
- Guitar Hero Tournament Has
been postponed for logistical reasons.
This fundraiser will be pursued in the near future.
- GL Scrip card program. Current POC
is Judy Bushey/Suzanne Reamer. A list of all participating businesses is
available at www.glscrip.com. A
discussion was held to determine if limiting the cards to particular
businesses (e.g. AHOLD finance/Martins) would be more cost effective. Susan Stephy is considering taking on
this responsibility. This
fundraiser has the possibility of ongoing success but needs to be better
promoted.
