CHS Music Boosters Meeting Minutes

Tony Caracciolo, Cindy Lewis, Debbie Ruark, Moe Ruark, Suzanne Reamer, Cindy Potee, Judy Bushey, Michelle Harrod, Nancy Thompson, and Susan Stephey.

Call to Order

The Music Boosters meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by Tony Caracciolo.

Treasurer’s Report

• Debbie Ruark distributed copies of the current budget. We are currently below our budgeted income. The Butter Braids fundraiser brought in $502.00 and Mia Bella candle sales during our Winter Concert performances brought in $160.00. To date, GL Scrip Cards sales have brought in $1,087 and Pizza Hut CHS Music Nights has brought in $224.

Music Director’s Report

Derrick Askew was not present.

Ways and Means Committee

• GL Scrip card program. POC is Suzanne Reamer. A list of all participating businesses is available at www.glscrip.com. Suzanne’s e-mail is suzo@dellmail.com.
• Pizza Hut “Knights”. Future Pizza Hut “knights” scheduled: Jan 24^th, Feb 28^th, Mar 28^th, Apr 25^th, and May 23^rd. Notice will be given if a date changes.

The POPS Concert is scheduled for January 27^th; however, Mr. Askew was not available to discuss any details. In addition, the New York Spring trip is “on hold” until Nancy Thompson hears from Mr. Askew that the trip is approved. She will contact him again tomorrow. Finally, a request has been made for a parent volunteer to take over management of the CHS Music website.

The meeting was motioned to adjourn by Moe Ruark and seconded by Cindy Lewis at 8:55 p.m.
