Call to Order
- The

Treasurer’s Report
- Debbie
Ruark presented the budget. The current Music Booster’s checking account
balance is just shy of what it was in June of 2006. The Vera Bradley Bingo
and the computer raffle both helped significantly to bring the balance
closer to last year’s end. June marks the end of the Music Booster’s
fiscal year. All income/expenses at this point will go towards the
2007/2008 budget. The budget was motioned to be approved by Suzanne Reamer
and seconded by Cindy Lewis.
- The
Music Boosters Board will meet on Monday, 6/11 at 5:00 p.m. to finalize
the 2007/2008 budget.

Askew was not present at the meeting.

Macy’s Visa card), and debit cards that have been registered with eScrip.

Marching Band
- Rob
Mattera represented the marching band instructors. The first payment for
marching band is due June 15th. This money will be used

15th, students will not be allowed to participate in marching
band. If anyone has financial concerns, please contact Debbie Ruark,
Treasurer. The marching band plans on several student-run car washes over
the summer. Details to come. There is still the potential for Century to
host three marching band shows. First, on 9/29 – Tournament of Bands (TOB)
format Knight of Reckoning. There are currently 5 bands signed up as of
5/31/07, usually bands do not commit to shows until over the summer.
Second, on 10/20 – USSBA MD State Championships. There are currently 10
bands committed. And possibly a third show on 11/3 – TOB Chapters. We have
hosted this show for the past two years; however TOB is still in
negotiations with both Century and Liberty HS. Everyone’s participation
will be needed for these events to be successful. Jim Kelley has
volunteered to continue as Show Coordinator for the upcoming 2007-2008
season.
